Retirement benefits

Latvian and Lithuanian citizens who worked in Lithuania, may be eligible for retirement benefits paid by The State Social Insurance Fund Board under the Ministry of Social Security and Labor (Sodra).

A person, already receiving retirement benefits (social security pensions) from Sodra, every November- December has to submit to the Foreign Pension Section of State Social Insurance Fund Board a certificate regarding residence abroad.
