Tourists from Latvia make up to 75% of foreign guests visiting Rokiškis, Biržai, Pasvalys, Kupiškis and Panevėžys. They are always welcome and loved as close relatives. Due to this fact, the latest tourism news under the name „Art, Food and Rest“ from 15 regions of Lithuania will be presented at „Balttour 2016“ on February 5-7 in Riga.

A new modern pavilion of ceramics in the centre of Panevėžys. The unique collection of contemporary fireclay reflecting the latest trends of the world ceramics will be a joy to the eye. It is a niche product of tourism, mostly designed for the art gourmets.

The international symposium of art glass, „Glassjazz“, takes place in August. It is organized by the art glass studio „Glassremis“.

„It is said that after falling head down off a tree and staying alive, someone becomes an artist. Yes, I have fallen off the poplar and I am grateful to the fate it happened since I became an artist. Glass has become my work and my hobby, even my beloved wife is a glass artist“, - said a glass master craftsman Mr Remigijus Kriukas.

During the 513th anniversary of Panevėžys city, the Lithuanian championship of hot air balloons is going to take place. It is planned to happen in Senvage, the most attractive part of the city centre and lots of craftspeople from Latvia will be welcomed  for this event.

Bistrampolis Manor, which is located near the „Via Baltica“ highway, 14 km off Panevėžys, welcomes to the festivals of classical music. While there, the manor house, park, restaurant, concert hall, stud, tennis courts and even the chapel will be at the guests’ services. If there would be a need, a priest will be found.
