Statement of Minister L. Linkevičius regarding words of former "Maxima Latvia" representative

I regret the irresponsible and insensitive words of the former “Maxima Latvia” representative that have caused pain to families of victims and the whole Latvian nation. His statement represents neither the opinion of the Lithuanian people, nor of the Lithuanian government with regard to the tragedy in Riga. Lithuania and its people deeply mourn together with the Latvian folk.
