On 14th of May, at the Embassy of Lithuania in Latvia, a presentation was held on Life Sciences Baltics 2014 Forum, which will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania on 10th-12th of September. Latvian Life Science businesses, enterprises and academic institutions were invited to attend this event. Ambassador of Lithuania to Latvia H.E. Mr Ričardas Degutis in his welcoming address inviting the representatives of the Latvian Life Sciences sector to actively participate at Life Sciences Baltics 2014 Forum, has noted that the competitiveness and economic viability in Life Sciences of the Baltic States is one of the most important priorities for the economic growth. Therefore, Life Sciences Baltics 2014 is an excellent opportunity to cooperate jointly representing the potential of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and attract more foreign investments to our Nordic-Baltic region, - said the Lithuanian Ambassador. The Project Manager of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency Ms Mairita Coneva has presented to the Latvian companies the opportunities on the participation at the Agency’s exhibition booth in Life Sciences Baltics 2014.
