Baltic Guitar Quartet, Guitar Virtuosos Concert in Riga
Date: 20 November 2013 Time: 19:00 hrs Venue: Spīķeri Concert Hall (Riga, Maskavas iela 4/1) The Baltic Guitar Quartet was created in 2004 when four young classical guitar players met one another. The quartet is considered to be one of the strongest classical guitar groups in the Baltic States. The repertoire of the Baltic Guitar Quartet is large: from Renaissance music to modern music. Their search for a unique sounding and repertoire has resulted not only in guitar arrangements of pieces by Bach, Rossini, and de Falla, but also in variations about the Balkan music or rock music in classical guitar compositions.
