The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania announces written bid for sale of MERCEDES BENZ VIANO. Starting price: 8.000,00 EUR (VAT is not included).

The starting selling price, place and time of the auction sale

1. Starting price: 8.000,00 EUR (eight thousand euros);
2. Place: Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, Rūpniecibas iela 24, LV-1010 Riga.
3. Date and time of the auction: 4 July 2016, at 12:00 noon.

Submitting a bid proposal:

Any bidder willing to participate in the auction is requested to submit a written bid (in a sealed envelope only) from 7 June 2016 to 4 July 2016 until 11:00 a.m. by sending it by post to the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Riga, Rūpniecibas iela 24, LV-1010 Riga, or delivering it in person to Mrs. Ramune Staugienė, Chief Officer of the Embassy, phone No. (+371) 26186665.

A. Written bid should include:

1. Name and address of the person, or company’s name and its headquarters, contact phone number, copy of ID or passport;

2. Offered price in euros;

3. Statement of the bidder that he/she is familiar with the actual state of the vehicle, or is willing to incur any and/or all liabilities for consequences arising from the failure to inspect the vehicle;

4. The bid should be submitted with the abovementioned documents attached, in a sealed envelope, with superscription: “Offer to purchase Mercedes Benz Viano”.

B. Rules for the participation in the auction:

1. Submission of the offer according to the above mentioned requirements;

2. The vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder;

3. The abovementioned starting price of the vehicle is the lowest selling price;

4. The vehicle will be handed over to the buyer under the condition of signing the purchase-sale contract; paying full amount of the offer price in the Embassy’s cash desk or in the Embassy’s bank account not later than in 7 days from the day of signing of the purchase-sale contract; personal presence of the winning bidder at the Embassy is necessary;

5. The Commission of the auction will reject a submitted offer in case if

- it was submitted after the deadline;

- it was submitted at the wrong place;

- a bidder has not submitted the information mentioned in the article A. 

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania reserves the right to cancel the auction without selecting any of the offers and without stating the reason.
